David Hooks, Managing Principal, and Founder of MarketHooks Consulting, has led the marketing teams for notable, luxury-priced condominium projects in Chicago such as Lincoln Park 2550, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences. Additionally, he has managed the marketing efforts for over 25,000 apartment units in major US markets including Chicago, San Francisco, San Jose, Denver, Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin markets, among others. David has been active in the real estate industry since 1975.
David and his team provide an array of marketing initiatives, from comprehensive programs to specific problem-solving tactics, in response to client requests or by recommending opportunities that the client may not have recognized. This achievement has been derived by integrating a balance of research creativity, journalism, public relations and advertising expertise with an understanding of economic and real estate development, redevelopment, positioning and repositioning issues. All actions are developed and executed with a focus on differentiation, economic return and client service. Prior to the formation of MarketHooks Consulting, David served as the Director of Advertising and Marketing for Paragon Group, a national real estate development company, where his responsibilities included developing and managing the firm’s national marketing campaign to promote partnership development and commercial and residential leasing objectives.
